Designing for Social Impact:

This was one of my third year projects. We were tasked with responding to a design brief, around improving our impact on the environment.

Skills used:

Canva , Pop , Research- Figma , Survey, Flow chart, Adobe; In Design, XD, Illustrator.

Ideation and Research:

After conducting extensive research into not only other eco apps but also simialr industries, such as supermarket apps, i created my initial designs. That i then whent onto develop with public feedback and colour research.

To get the best grade, we needed to use all of our skills gained throughout the dregree. Therefore i decided to use the centre of my app design ( the traffic light system ) to have a wider impact. Prototyping it on food packeging, to see how it would fit into designs and blend between the shopping experience. Aware that the traffic light system of the ingredients already exists on products i could see it could work well.
